Levantamento bilateral do seio maxilar por acesso lateral com xenoenxerto bovino e fibrina rica em plaquetas autóloga: relato de caso e análise de viabilidade clínica

A reabsorção óssea pós-extração e pneumatização sinusal na maxila posterior representam desafios críticos para reabilitação com implantes, exigindo técnicas regenerativas como o levantamento do seio maxilar (LSM) com biomateriais. O objetivo do estudo foi relatar a eficácia clínica da associação entre xenoenxerto bovino e fibrina rica em plaquetas (PRF) no LSM bilateral por acesso lateral. Paciente do sexo feminino, 54 anos, com reabsorção óssea severa, foi submetida a elevação da membrana schneideriana e preenchimento do espaço sub-sinusal com compósito de Cerabone® e PRF autóloga. Após 6 meses, tomografia confirmou consolidação óssea adequada, permitindo instalação estável de implantes e resolução da disfunção mastigatória. Conclui-se que a técnica combinatória demonstrou viabilidade, com formação óssea satisfatória e benefícios atribuíveis às propriedades bioativas da PRF (aceleração da cicatrização e vascularização). Inconsistências na literatura reforçam a necessidade de estudos controlados para validar sua eficácia osteogênica sinérgica.
