Peer Review Policy
Following submission, the Editorial team reviews the manuscript to ensure it adheres to the journal's guidelines. If text overlap is identified, the authors will be asked to revise the manuscript. If the required revisions are not completed, the article will be rejected.

For articles submitted in English by Brazilian authors, a certificate from a qualified language service provider is required upon submission. This document must verify that the manuscript was professionally translated and proofread for grammatical and stylistic accuracy. BioscHealth publishing offers translation and proofreading services in English. Therefore, authors are responsible for ensuring that the English version of their manuscript employs appropriate scientific terminology and adheres to professional language standards.

Provided that the manuscript complies with the Guidelines for Authors and falls within the journal’s scope, the Editor-in-Chief will submit it for double-blind peer review. Under this model, the authors’ identities will not be disclosed to the reviewers, and the reviewers’ identities will remain confidential to the authors throughout the review process.

The manuscript will be reviewed by invited reviewers, selected based on their experience and expertise in the subject matter. Once the review process is complete, the authors will be notified of the editorial decision. If revisions are requested, the authors must submit a new version of the manuscript along with a point-by-point response letter addressing all of the reviewers’ comments and recommendations.
